Graduated from John C. Fremont High School in Los Angeles, CA. in 1984. 

1984-1985: Attended LACC (Los Angeles Community College) to begin Business Degree. 

1988-1989: CIncinnati Technical College- Pursued Business degree. 

1993-1996: Queen City Vocational Training Center- Certificate of Completion in Administrative duties with a concentration in Business.  

March 1996- until present 2023: Began working at The Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County (which is now called…The Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library (CHPL). 27 +years to date. 

 Business Degree in 2013, graduated from CCU (Cincinnati Christian University) from 2008-2013  

Seasonal job with H&R Block 17 years ago and still a current seasonal employee with this Organization.

Gabrielle Gates is a creator, writer, and philanthropist. With over 20 years of non profit experience, she has had a multi generational impact on families across the United States. As an AmeriCorp and Public Allies alumni, she is committed to social justice. 

Her service with the RKMJR foundation dates back to 2013. She enjoys testing the limits of her imagination and finding magic in the seemingly ordinary. Her favorite quote is by Wes Angelozzi that says “Go and love someone exactly as they are. And then watch how quickly they transform into the greatest, truest version of themselves. When one feels seen and appreciated in their own essence, one is instantly empowered.”
